Pinnacle Engineering, PLC is a consulting structural engineering firm
founded on thirty years of licensed professional engineering experience. We
design significant building projects with nationally prominent architects;
higher education and healthcare facilities; large and small buildings with
local and regional architects; projects for facilities managers, owners, and
contractors; and perform forensic investigations and structural condition
surveys. Staff is also experienced in the design of highway bridges.
Prior to establishing Pinnacle Engineering in 2002, the firm’s principal
was responsible for major building projects and numerous studies and
investigations in Virginia and other regional states as structural
engineer, project manager, and principal in charge. Representative higher
education projects at the University of Virginia included both phases of the
Darden School of Business with architects Robert A.M. Stern and Ayers Saint
Gross, Renovation of the Rheumatology Clinic and the Claude Moore Health
Sciences Library Renovation with architect Ayers Saint Gross, Hereford
College with VMDO Architects, and the McCue Center with architect HOK. His
transportation projects included the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit
Authority West Falls Church Station.
The Commonwealth of Virginia Department Of Minority Business Enterprise (DMBE)
has approved and lists Pinnacle Engineering, PLC as a Certified Small
Business. Pinnacle Engineering also meets United States Small Business
Administration criteria for an Emerging Small Business. Our Charlottesville,
